Dr. Joseph Marzzacco is a Board-Certified Podiatric physician and surgeon with over 40 years experience.  He presently practices general Podiatry with a special interest in diabetic wound care and Hyperbaric Medicine.  He was the Medical Director of the Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center at the former Marian Community Hospital, Carbondale, PA.

He holds a BA degree from King’s College and a DPM from Temple University College of Podiatric Medicine.  He completed a Podiatric surgical residency at Metropolitan Hospital, Philadelphia.  He also holds a certificate in Hyperbaric medicine and earned a J.D. degree in Medical Laws Studies from Greenwich University.  He is a past Fellow of the American Professional Wound Care Association.

He is a past president of the Lackawanna County Podiatry Society.  He also serves as President of Carbondale City Council.
