Michael Treichler, DC, LAT, ATC


Dr. Treichler received his Bachelors of Science in Exercise Physiology/ Athletic Training in 1994 from West Virginia University School of Medicine. He is a Certified Athletic Trainer by the NATABOC and licensed AT in PA.  He is also a Honors graduate of New York Chiropractic College, were he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic Degree in 1997 and a member of the Phi Chi Omega National Chiropractic Scholastic Fraternity.

Dr. Treichler is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, Pennsylvania Chiropractic Association, National Athletic Trainers Association, and the Pennsylvania Athletic Trainers Association.  Dr. Treichler works with many athletes at the Olympic, Professional Sports & Dance, Collegiate, High School and Youth levels and as a member of various team/event Medical Staff’s.  He also has administrated Employee Health & Fitness Programs at several companies.   Dr. Treichler has extensive post-educational training in various Chiropractic techniques, carpal tunnel/nerve entrapment injuries (non-surgical approach), myofascial release, Kinetic Release Techniques, Graston Technique, Certified in  Kinesio-Taping Techniques, aquatic rehab and various soft tissue injuries due to trauma or repetitive use syndromes. He is the Head Chiropractic Doctor for the Harrisburg Islanders Professional Soccer Team.  He has lectured/ guest spoke nationally on many topics in Sports Chiropractics, Prevention of work injuries/ergonomics, Sports Rehabilitation, Soft tissue injuries and management, and Prevention of Work Injuries.

Dr. Treichler and his wife, Jessica, have two boys. He enjoys the outdoors, spending time with his family, and is very passionate about Corvettes and WVU Sports.
